  • Michael P. Carney, D.O. - Chairman
  • Dr. Carney is a 1976 graduate of the Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine.  He entered and completed a rotating internship followed by an internal medicine residency at Oklahoma Osteopathic Hospital (OSUMC)  where he served as chief resident.  He was accepted into the cardiology fellowship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center where he was graduated in 1982.  Dr. Carney is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine and the American College of Cardiology.  He is principle in Cardiology of Oklahoma, Inc

  • Donald M. Dushay, D.O. - Vice-Chairman
  • Dr. Dushay recently retired after practicing medicine for 50 years. He is a graduate of Kansas City College of Osteopathy and Surgery. He interned here at OOH before completing an EENT residency at Grandview Hospital in Dayton. He served as Program Director for the ENT Residency Program at OSUMC and is the recipient of numerous awards from both the FOCOO and FACOS. In 2009, Dr. Dushay was selected as the recipient of the Foundations’s Outstanding Physician Award.

  • Jeffrey S. Stroup, Pharm.D., BCPS - Secretary/Treasurer
  • Dr. Stroup is Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy from the Albany College of Pharmacy in Albany, NY in 2002. He completed his residency in endocrinology/adult medicine in the Department of Pharmacy Practice in Albany. Dr. Stroup serves as clinical pharmacist in the department of internal medicine at OSU Medical Center. He is an active researcher and frequent lecturer on diabetes and many other topics.

  • Sherri L. Wise - President/CEO
  • Sherri Wise has served as President and CEO of the Osteopathic Founders Foundation since 1996. She is a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma and holds certification in Oklahoma as a Certified Public Accountant. 

    Ms. Wise serves in a variety of volunteer activities both locally and nationally.  She was appointed to the Oklahoma Science and Technology Research and Development Board by Governor Brad Henry where she currently serves as Vice-Chairman.  She chairs the Seed Capital Investment Fund for the Oklahoma Center for the Advancement of Science and Technology.

    Ms. Wise is former President and current board member of the Oklahoma Educational Foundation for Osteopathic Medicine.  She is Vice-Chairman of the National Association of Osteopathic Foundations and represents that group as an appointee to the American Osteopathic Association’s Council of Women’s Health and the AOA Bureau of State Government Affairs.  She served as a member of the Board of Directors of the American Osteopathic Foundation and continues to serve the AOF as a member of the Council on Educational Grants.  She was awarded the Horizon Award by the American Osteopathic Foundation in 2005.
    Locally, Ms. Wise is a member of the Board of Directors for the Bridges Foundation, an organization providing vocational services for individuals with developmental disabilities.  She is a long-time volunteer for Special Olympics having served on the Board of Directors for Special Olympics Oklahoma and as a member of the President’s Advisory Council for Special Olympics International.  Currently, she coordinates health services for Special Olympics state competitions.

    Ms. Wise is a member of the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Oklahoma Planned Giving Council.  She is an alumna of Leadership Tulsa Class XVIII.

  • James M. Benien
  • Mr. Benien, a Tulsa native, comes from a family closely involved with osteopathic medicine.  His father, Paul Benien, was one of the original Founders of the Osteopathic Hospital Founders Association, as well as a respected surgeon in the osteopathic community.  One of his two brothers is also an osteopathic physician practicing in Oklahoma City.  He is the owner of All American Fitness, as well as 14 other regional health clubs, making him the largest health club operator in the state of Oklahoma. 

  • Sheldon C. Berger, D.O.
  • Dr. Berger is a 1984 graduate of the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences.  He completed his rotating internship and Internal Medicine residency at Tulsa Regional Medical Center where he served as chief resident in 1988.  He then completed a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology through the Chicago Osteopathic Hospital System in 1990 before returning to Tulsa to begin his private practice.  Dr. Berger currently practices with Gastroenterology Specialists of Tulsa.

  • Andrew S. Crawford, D. O.
  • Dr. Crawford is a 1996 graduate of the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Tulsa Regional Medical Center and a fellowship in gastroenterology at the Scott and White Clinic in Temple, Texas. Drew currently practices with Tulsa Gastroenterology at St. John Medical Center. He is married to fellow OSU-COM graduate, Lisa Crawford, a pediatrician.

  • Kimberlie K. Dullye, M.D.
  • Dr. Dullye is a 1992 graduate of the Oklahoma University College of Medicine.  She completed her internship in Internal Medicine with the OU College of Medicine – Tulsa before beginning an anesthesia residency at Parkland Health and Hospital System in Dallas, Texas.  In December 1996 she completed a liver and kidney transplant fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center. She served as Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center before returning to Tulsa in 2000.  Dr. Dullye is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and currently chairs the Department of Anesthesiology at OSU Medical Center.

  • Larry D. McKenzie, D.O.
  • Dr. McKenzie is a 1992 graduate of the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.  He completed a rotating internship and a residency in family medicine at Tulsa Regional Medical Center followed by a family medicine/OB fellowship at the University of Arkansas at Jonesboro.  Dr. McKenzie served as Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine and also as Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Oklahoma – Tulsa.  Dr. McKenzie is certified by the American Board of Osteopathic Family Practice and by the American Association of Medical and Review Officers.  He has recently begun an anesthesia residency at OSU Medical Center.

  • Daniel G. Morris, D.O.
  • Dr. Morris is a 1981 graduate of Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his traditional rotating internship at Enid Memorial Hospital before beginning a career with the US Air Force. He returned to Tulsa Regional Medical Center in 1993 to complete his residency in Anesthesiology. After practicing in Florida for several years, he completed a fellowship in pain medicine at Washington University School of Medicine/Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Currently Dr. Morris is a partner at Pain Management of Tulsa and has recently been named Program Director for the new osteopathic Pain Management Fellowship at OSU Medical Center/Cancer Treatment Centers of America.

  • Candy N. Ting, D.O.
  • Dr. Ting is a 1986 graduate of Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed both her rotating internship and family practice residency with a special emphasis in general internal medicine at Dallas Memorial Hospital. Dr. Ting returned to Tulsa with her husband Andy to accept a position at Hillcrest Medical Group. She is a former board member of the Tulsa County Medical Society, past Chairman of the Tulsa Osteopathic Medical Society and the OSU-COM Alumni Association. She currently serves as a member of the medical executive committee of St. John Medical Center and the Board of Directors of the Baptist General Convention in Oklahoma.

  • Arthur G. Wallace, Jr., D.O.
  • Dr. Wallace is a 1977 graduate of the Oklahoma College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery (OSU-COM).  He completed a residency in emergency medicine at Oklahoma Osteopathic Hospital where he later served as program director for many years.  In 2006, Dr. Wallace was selected as the “Champion of Public Health” for his work in starting the state’s first Disaster Medical Assistance Team (DMAT) after Operation Desert Storm in 1991.  Since then, he has deployed to sites such as the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, the September 11, 2001 World Trade Center attack in New York City, and areas of the Gulf Coast affected by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

  • Jay M. Williamson, D.O.
  • Dr. Williamson is a 1990 graduate of the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Don’t expect to see him wearing orange however because Jay and his family are HUGE OU fans! He completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecologic surgery at Tulsa Regional Medical Center and currently practices with Tulsa OB-Gyn Associates at St. John Medical Center. Jay and his wife Kim, who is the daughter of Tom Carlile, D.O., chaired Winterset for the Foundation in 2002.

  • Kenneth E. Calabrese, D.O. – Director Emeritus
  • Dr. Calabrese is a 1970 graduate of the Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery (KCUMB).  After completing his rotating internship at Lakeside Hospital he entered the Internal Medicine residency program at Oklahoma Osteopathic Hospital (OSUMC).  In 1977 he completed a Nephrology and Hypertension Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic and returned to OOH to begin his practice and develop end stage renal dialysis services for the hospital.  Dr. Calabrese is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine.
