- Sherri L. Wise – President/CEO
Sherri Wise has served as President and CEO of the Osteopathic Founders Foundation since 1996. She is a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma and holds certification in Oklahoma as a Certified Public Accountant.
Ms. Wise serves in a variety of volunteer activities both locally and nationally. She was appointed to the Oklahoma Science and Technology Research and Development Board by Governor Brad Henry where she currently serves as Vice-Chairman. She chairs the Seed Capital Investment Fund for the Oklahoma Center for the Advancement of Science and Technology.
Ms. Wise is former President and current board member of the Oklahoma Educational Foundation for Osteopathic Medicine. She is Vice-Chairman of the National Association of Osteopathic Foundations and represents that group as an appointee to the American Osteopathic Association’s Council of Women’s Health and the AOA Bureau of State Government Affairs. She served as a member of the Board of Directors of the American Osteopathic Foundation and continues to serve the AOF as a member of the Council on Educational Grants. She was awarded the Horizon Award by the American Osteopathic Foundation in 2005.
Locally, Ms. Wise is a member of the Board of Directors for the Bridges Foundation, an organization providing vocational services for individuals with developmental disabilities. She is a long-time volunteer for Special Olympics having served on the Board of Directors for Special Olympics Oklahoma and as a member of the President’s Advisory Council for Special Olympics International. Currently, she coordinates health services for Special Olympics state competitions.Ms. Wise is a member of the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Oklahoma Planned Giving Council. She is an alumna of Leadership Tulsa Class XVIII.
- Diane Jarvi – Executive Secretary
Diane Jarvi has over 23 years experience in administrative support roles in hospital philanthropy, including Hillcrest Medical Center Foundation, Tulsa Regional Medical Center Foundation, and Osteopathic Founders Foundation. She has been a part of the osteopathic family since December 1991.
Ms. Jarvi is originally from Muskegon, Michigan, and attended Ferris State University. She has lived in the Tulsa area since 1978.
She currently represents OFF as a member of Executive Women International (EWI), serving in several board positions and as chapter president 2007-2008.
- Susan B. Smith – Education Specialist / AHA Programs
The Osteopathic Founders Foundation employs Susan Smith, P.A. as its AHA Education Program Specialist. With her background as a physician’s assistant she has more than ten years experience with the American Heart Association as an instructor/trainer, training center faculty, and regional faculty in Emergency Cardiovascular Care Training.
A 1977 graduate of Alderson-Broaddus College, Ms. Smith was one of the first Physician Assistant trainers to return to the program to serve as an assistant clinical instructor. Her experience in the hospital setting included service in both surgery and anesthesia. After moving to Tulsa in 1994 she became a multi-program educator for Saint Francis Hospital transferring to the Hillcrest HealthCare system in 1998.
