The mission of the Osteopathic Founders Foundation is to support osteopathic medical education, to enhance the public’s understanding of osteopathic medicine and to improve the health of the community through projects consistent with the osteopathic philosophy. As a part of that mission, the Board of Directors wishes to establish an enduring program of substantive, outcome oriented, continuing medical education opportunities and adopts the following mission statement to guide the conduct of its CME activities. The continuing medical education mission of the Osteopathic Founders Foundation is to continually improve patient care by providing timely, relevant, evidence based clinical knowledge to osteopathic physicians and other health care providers. The Foundation was successful in becoming accredited as a category 1-A sponsor by the American Osteopathic Association Council on Continuing Medical Education in November, 2008. Programs are offered throughout the year, at no charge to osteopathic physicians. We’d be pleased to receive your suggestions of topics that would be of particular interest to you and your colleagues.
